Todd Fletcher, Senior Pastor
Todd grew up in church as a child but drifted away at around the age of 13 after his parents’ divorce. Later, while serving in the U. S. Coast Guard, he and his wife Stephanie returned to church where they became faithful members, serving in various capacities. Although he was a faithful church member, it wasn’t until age 35 that Todd realized he had never truly surrendered his life to Jesus. At that point the Lord both saved him and called him to full-time vocational ministry. He immediately began attending Liberty University until shortly after his retirement from the Coast Guard when he received his Bachelor of Science in Christian Ministry in 2016.
Todd came to serve as Pastor of Beulah Baptist Church in October 2018 and is currently pursuing a Master's of Arts in Religion/Expository Preaching from the Rawlings School of Divinity at Liberty University. Prior to coming to Beulah he served as the Pastor of Missions and Discipleship at Temple Baptist Church in his hometown of Simpsonville, S.C.
Todd has been married to his wife Stephanie since 1999 and they are the proud parents of two children, Bryce and Kiersten.
Tyler Ridings, Student Pastor
Tyler is a native of Polk County and 2012 graduate Polk County High School and is currently pursuing his Bachelor of Arts in Christian Ministries at Spurgeon College. He and his wife Bree have one beautiful daughter named Ellie. Tyler has served as Student Pastor since February of 2021.
Curtis Long, Childrens Pastor
Church has always been a part of my life. As a young child, it became apparent I was a good kid and a church kid, but hopelessly on my way to a real and literal place called Hell. The Holy Spirit used Ron Hamilton’s Patch the Pirate children’s ministry to expose my need for a Savior and a godly mother to lead me to salvation in Jesus Christ. From then on, I was no longer just a good church kid. Now I was a redeemed child of the King and on my way to heaven! Not because of any work I had done but because I placed my faith and trust in His perfect work of redemption for me.
I met his wife Amanda at church too. We have four amazing kids, Evan, Erin, Emma, and Emily and recently celebrated 20 years of marriage. In 2015 I surrendered to the Lord’s call on my life after running for 15 years. After surrendering to God’s call I completed my Bachelor of Science in Christian Ministry at Liberty University and served as Families Pastor at Temple Baptist Church in Simpsonville.
In 2022 the Lord brought the Long family to Beulah Baptist Church, where Curtis serves as the Children’s Pastor. We pray that the BBC Kid’s ministry is a tool for parents that reinforces godly teaching at home while aiding them in the most important job they have, which is bringing their children up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
